This world was so unbearable,
She no longer wished to live,
Just feeling immensely terrible
With no more sense to give.
Working six shifts a week
Was never enough to make do,
Her body completely weak,
Barely carrying herself through.
She felt the world was watching,
Waiting for her next mistake,
So they could start mocking,
Hoping she’ll never escape.
Like a train on a railroad track,
She was on a one way street,
Unable to ever turn back,
She could feel her own defeat.
Hoping someone would save her
And make her feel alive again,
So happiness could reoccur;
She was desperate for that friend.
Eventually she began floating
As someone came her way
Putting her life back in motion
And taking all her pain away.
No longer is she bare footed

ना तेरी नीयत अधूरी थी ना मेरी चाहत ही पूरी थी,
ले आ ही गयी दर्मियां लिखी जो दूरी थी।
याद तो होगा, पहला इज़हार!
जब नज़रों से मुझे छुआ था;
सरे बाज़ार मेरा चेहरा हया से लाल जब हुआ था ।
याद है क्या?
जब बाहों में तेरी पहली बार हम समाए थे,
वो लम्हे हमने महफ़िल की रंगीनियों से चुराए थे ।
है एहसास तुझे!
बेपरवाह मेरी हंसी जब तेरी आंखों से छलकी थी,
कांपते हाथों को थामे जो तेरी मोहब्बत की नर्मी थी।
तोड़ दिया तूने, पहला वादा
कभी न छोड़ कर जाने का किया था,
हमें हमसे भी ज़्यादा मांग जो लिया था।
जब पहली बरसात में,
सर को, मेरे आंचल से तूने ढ़ंका था, एक खत सावन में तूने जज़्बातों से भी लिखा था।
क्या भुला पाएगा?
वो जब पहली बार लबों को छुआ था,
बिन पिए ही नशा सा हुआ था।
चांद भी शर्मा गया हमारी बेहयाई थी,
सारी रात रस्म्-ए-इश्क हमने तारों तले निभाई थी।
जाते-जाते एक और काम - कर दे
मुझे फिर से मेरे ही नाम कर दे
बन जा फिर से तू अनजान
सुन भ्रम का ये पर्दा हटा दे
है महकता जो मुझमें इत्र तेरा, इसे मिटा दे
और मुझे तू सुकून मेरा फिर से लौटा दे।

यादों के सागर में डुबो देते है ,
जितना हम उबरना चाहते है ,
ये उतना गहरा हमें धकेल देते है

चाहता है मन , लौट जाए उन्हीं लम्हों में ,
समेट ले वह मासूम खुशियाँ ,
जी ले फिर से वो निश्छल बचपन ,
न थी जिसमे स्वार्थ की रची दूरियाँ
बचपन के वो सुनहरे दिन ,
बहुत याद आते है आजकल ,
कोशिश बहुत की , कि वहीँ थम जाए ,
पर फिर भी वो रेत की तरह हाथों से गए फिसल
अब लगता है की टूट गया है सबकुछ कांच की तरह,
और बिखर गया है हर रिश्ता ,

फिर भी सबके दिल में हसरतें बेशुमार है।।
ख्वाहिशों से भरा यह गुलिस्तां है।
हर गुल को हासिल करने का सबके दिल में अरमान है।।
हैं अगर तवक्कुल तो बात बन जाएगी।
मेहनतकश जो बन गए, तो मेहनत रंग लाएगी।।
ना खत्म होती कभी ना भुला पाती है।
हर रोज़ एक हसरत दिलों में जाग जाती है।।
हर पल गिना जिसने अपनी हसरतों को, वह बेहिसाब हो गया।
पार करने की कोशिश में इस दरिया को, वह जेर ए आब हो गया।।
साथ जो मिले नसीब का तो लाखों हसरतें पूरी हो जाती है।
और तकब्बुर जो करे कोई, तो निस्फ सी हसरत भी न मुकम्मल हो पाती है।।
हसरतों के इस चमन में खिजां भी आएगी।
मायूसी का आलम भी होगा, हसरतों की सारी पत्तियां जड़ जाएगी।।
उठ चले, न मायूस हो, यह वक़्त भी बीत जाएगा।
इस खिजां के बाद मौसम ए बहार भी आएगा।।
हसरतों का क्या है, हर रोज़ ज़हन में आएगी।

नहीं जाना मुझे ये केहकर माँ को बेहाल किया,
स्कूल का पेहला दिन था, रो-रोकर आँखें लाल किया ।
जैसे-तैसे स्कूल जाना शुरूआत किया,
कब आएगी लेने माँ, राह तकते हुए इंतजार किया ।
कुछ दिन बीते कुछ अनजानों से पेहचान हो गई,
वो यार थे स्कूल के मेरे,
जिनसे दोस्ती हो गई ।
असली व्यापार तो उन दोस्तों ने सिखाया था,
दो नटराज पेंसिल के बदले,
एक खुशबू वाला पेंसिल ये केहकर बेहलाया था ।
रोज माँ दो रुपये देती उसमें एक समोसा आता,
मजे लेकर मैं दोस्तों में बाँट कर खाता,
जो ना मिले पैसे कभी,
तो दोस्तों के टिफिन से ही पेट भर जाता ।
वो पेंसिल छीलने के बहाने,
एक साथ सबका क्लास से जाना,
टीचर पढ़ाते वक़्त टिफिन खाना,
गलती से पकड़े गए तो एक दूसरे पर नाम लगाना,
सजा जब दोस्तों को मिले तो बैठे-बैठे उन्हें चिढ़ाना ।
कभी वो क्रिकेट में सचिन बनते,
कभी मैं फुटबॉल का बेक्खम,
खेलकूद में कोई हार ना मानता,
ना वो मुझसे ना मैं उनसे कम ।
बचपन न जाने कब बीता,
पता ना चला हम कब बड़े हुए,
स्कूल की यादें समेटकर फेयरवेल पार्टी में खड़े हुए,
किसे पता था एक ऐसा वक़्त भी आएगा,
कभी रोया करते थे स्कूल ना जाने के लिए,
स्कूल का आखरी दिन भी आंखों में आंसू ले आएगा ।
वो दिन भी क्या दिन थे,
जो कभी भुलाया नहीं जाएगा ।

कहते है वक़्त के साथ सब बदल जाता है, मगर ऐसा होता कहा है। कुछ चीज़ें कभी नहीं बदलती। कुछ असाही ही है वो दो घंटे जो आज भी मेरे ज़िन्दगी के सबसे खास पाल मे से एक है। भले उस बात को सालो बीत गए हो पर आज भी वो कल जैसा लगता है, ऐसा लगता है जैसे कल की ही तो बात है। खबर आया की वो आ रहा है। वो कौन? अरे वही जो मेरा जान है। कहते है पहली मुलाकात बहुत खास होती है पर जो मेने महसूस किया वो बस खास ही नहीं वो बहुत अनमोल था। उसे अपनी और आते देख मेरा दिल जोर जोर से धड़कने लगा था। उसे पहली बार में देखते रह गयी। उस दिन मुझे पता चला की कोई मुझसे भी बहुत प्यार करता है जो मेरे लिए कुछ भी कर सकता है। इस चीज़ से ज्यादा ख़ुशी कोई चीज़ नहीं देती कोई हमारे लिए जान पर इतने दूर आये। अब तक जिससे बस फ़ोन पे बातें होती थी वो मेरे सामने था, जैसे कोई सपना था। याद है मुझे उसका मुझे देखते ही गले लगा लेना, मेरे हाथो को ऐसे पकड़ना जैसे कभी ना छोड़ना। उसका मेरे जिस्म को चुना मेरे रूह को छू लेने जैसा था। खुदा तो कब का मान बैठते थे उसे पहली बार उस खुदा का दीदार हुआ था। ये दिल बेचैन तो पहले भी था पर उस दिन कुछ ज्यादा

हर बात का मन मे सवाल था,
अंजान थे हम दुनिया से
पर जीने का हमे सुकून था।
शरारतो से मन ना भरता,
अब आगे क्या इस बात का ना डर था,
इंतज़ार करते थे हम जवान होने का
दुःख को खोकर खुशिया पाने का।
वक़्त गुजरा हम बडे हो गए,
पैरो पर अपने खडे हो गए,
सपने जो देखे थे सब चूर हो गए,
हम पैसे कमाने मे मजबूर हो गए।
परिवार के मोह मै कुछ ऐसे उल्जे,
के अपना परिवार है यही भूल गए।
वक़्त गुजरा तो बात समजी,
पैसे खुब कमाए
कमाई हमने इज़्ज़त भी ,
पर कमा ना सके प्यार ।
उमर अब सारी बीत गई,
अब करना है अब मौत का इंतज़ार।

This world was so unbearable,
She no longer wished to live,
Just feeling immensely terrible
With no more sense to give.
Working six shifts a week
Was never enough to make do,
Her body completely weak,
Barely carrying herself through.
She felt the world was watching,
Waiting for her next mistake,
So they could start mocking,
Hoping she’ll never escape.
Like a train on a railroad track,
She was on a one way street,
Unable to ever turn back,
She could feel her own defeat.
Hoping someone would save her
And make her feel alive again,
So happiness could reoccur;
She was desperate for that friend.
Eventually she began floating
As someone came her way
Putting her life back in motion
And taking all her pain away.
No longer is she bare footed
Walking this world all alone
She is now completely uprooted
With a love to carry her home
