 मेरा देश मेरा वतन ।

ये मेरा देश भारत ये मेरा वतन,

इसी पर कुर्बान है मेरा तन - मन और धन,

ये मेरा भारत देश दुनिया में सबसे महान है,

यहाँ पर बसते हर भारतीय की भारत देश में ही बस्ती जान है,

इस देश में बसते हर भारतीय की एक अलग पहचान है,

यहाँ हर राज्य के लोग एक दूसरे की भाषा से अनजान है,

पर जब बात आ जाये राष्ट्र की हर भारतीय की जान राष्ट्र के लिए कुर्बान है,

यहाँ राष्ट्र के प्रति हर किसी में एकता है,

भारत देश का मतलब ही अनेकता में एकता है,

हर किसी का अपने देश के प्रति एक सच्चा ईमान है,

तभी तो मेरा भारत देश दुनिया में सबसे महान है ।

Where the mind is without fear and the head is held high,

Where no one tells me what to eat, or what to wear, or where to live,

Where cow protection doesn't become an excuse to attack the weak,

Where no one justifies terrorism in the name of religion or azaadi,

Where dissent is not criminalized or treated as an anti-national act

Where nationalism doesn't become a weapon to pit Indian versus Indian,

Where the walls of prejudice and caste and community hatred melt away,

Where our diversity is preserved, not destroyed by religious extremists

Where we don't divide our freedom struggle to suit ideological positions

, Where every Indian has equal opportunity irrespective of birth or position,

Where the Adivasi in Jharkhand gets the same education as the elite in Mumbai,

Where women feel safe on the streets and men to commit to gender equality,

Where gay men and women can safely and fearlessly pursue the right to love

Where no farmer is pushed into committing suicide because of a debt trap or a failed crop,

Where jawans are given their due and servicemen don't have to fast to get paid better

, Where the young are inspired to become change-makers and live their dreams

Where the corrupt are convicted and do not get away because of their manipulative skills,

Where the hafta culture ends and the police don't misuse their powers

Where corporates realize a social responsibility that goes beyond profiteering,

Where journalists stand up and show the truth to power rather than becoming stooges of the establishment or manic TRP warriors,

Where lawyers and judges fight for justice and not for delaying it,

Where doctors serve their patients and don't exploit them,

Where every Indian is proud to be Indian but isn't put through a daily patriotism test into that heaven of freedom, let my country awake..Happy Independence Day! Jay Hind

A Verse to be Recalled 

I can breath, I can decide, I stand beneath the mighty sky 

and roar to my feelings,

 I m free in this nation.
The nation of pride, honesty and

 built from the desi grounded emotion.
To the at most freedom of what to do and what not, 

me abiding my family and my society beliefs,
I aspire to be a change that pictured by the revolutionaries made 

and still inspiring many life's.
The way it happened by sacrificing bloods of our own,
Statues, frames, and museums got equipped, 

 remembering them somewhere got blown.
The democracy got replaced with hypocrisy,
And all started living individually,
Once there stood one for another at the gunshot,
The single piece of bread was eaten by 10 happy mutually.
Time changes so as the people, being means is temporary, love is eternal.
Somewhere still we feel bad when our national cricket team losses a match,
Somewhere were our hearts still warns when the national anthem playing, our ears catch.
Somewhere we feel proud when our nation achieves big and we clap,
Somewhere dispute being different minded we together do boycott Chinese app.
As far as we go nation will always be in a soft corner in our heart,
May we leave the boundaries but the patriotism hidden couldn't be made apart.
Let's respect the country and its dignity not only today but every day..
